For US personal injury, criminal defense & family lawyers

Give us one hour a month.
We'll make you the lawyer other lawyers send cases to.

You talk for an hour. We turn it into about two LinkedIn posts a week, written in your voice, so the referral partners who actually send cases think of you first.

Why your best cases go to someone else

The referral happens on a random Tuesday.

A family lawyer hears about a bad car wreck. A criminal defense attorney gets a call that's outside their lane. They have about three seconds to answer one question: "Who do I send this to?"

They don't think of the best lawyer. They think of the one they remember.

Between lunches and conferences, relationships fade. LinkedIn is how you stay top of mind with the people who send cases.

Most lawyers already know this. So they try posting. Then one of three things happens:

They run out of time. You're running a firm, not a content agency.
It sounds like a press release. Settlements, awards, "thrilled to announce." Nobody remembers any of it.
They hire a ghostwriter, and it doesn't sound like them. So the posts never go out.

We built Storyleads to fix all three.

How it works

One hour a month. Here's what we do with it.

You bring the stories. We handle everything else, and nothing posts without your thumbs up.

01 · PROFILE FIRST

We rebuild your profile for referral partners

Headline, banner, Featured section and About, rewritten so another lawyer knows in two seconds what you do, where you do it, and what cases to send you.

02 · THE STORY SESSION

You talk for an hour. We find the stories.

One conversation a month. You don't need to think you have stories. That's our job. Month one, we meet weekly to build your backlog.

03 · WE WRITE, YOU APPROVE

About two posts a week, in your voice

Our writers draft everything in the way you actually talk. You redline until you're happy. If it doesn't sound like you, we rewrite it. Period.

04 · THE RIGHT PEOPLE SEE IT

We put you in front of the lawyers who refer

New referral-partner connections every month, plus a 12-month content map, so the right people start recognizing your name before you've met.

Every post does one of three things.

EXPERTISE

Proves you know your stuff. How you think about a case, from demand to trial. The take you'd share with another lawyer over coffee.

CLIENT EXPERIENCE

Proves you take care of clients. A referral is a reflection on the lawyer who sends it. They need to know their client is in good hands.

PERSONAL

Proves you're a real person. Who you are outside the law. A referral partner doesn't send a case to a résumé. They send it to someone they feel they know.

Results, in real practices

What happens when the right lawyers hear the right stories.

Adam Loewy · Personal Injury · Austin, TX
50 → 2,500 profile views a week

Adam was already posting before he came to us. We rebuilt his content around the stories behind his cases instead of the settlement numbers. His yearly impressions grew past 7 million, and he has publicly tied more than $1.7M in settlements to LinkedIn, referred by attorneys in other states.

Daniel Schneiderman · Personal Injury · San Diego, CA
A seven-figure-plus case, two months in

Daniel had just opened his own firm and made LinkedIn his primary marketing channel. Two months in, a lawyer in Arizona sent him a DM about a client hurt in an ATV accident. It turned into a seven-figure-plus case.

Monica Ishak · Criminal Defense · Palm Beach, FL
"I follow you. I read all your stuff."

Monica got her first federal case from a lawyer who found her on LinkedIn. Then she walked into a courtroom and the prosecutor told her he follows her posts.

As Jacob always says: LinkedIn didn't win the case. But the rapport helped.
Employment Law · A three-month-old firm
One post. 6.2M impressions. 90 cases.

She posted at 7 PM Pacific. By morning it had 400,000 views, and 6.2M by the end of the week. Ninety employment-law cases came in for a firm that was three months old. It wasn't a trick. It was a true story, in her voice, in front of the right people.

We're not for every lawyer. On purpose.

We limit how many attorneys we take per practice area in each market, so we're picky about fit.

This is for you if…

  • You practice PI, criminal defense or family law in the US
  • Your best cases come from other lawyers
  • You're willing to share real stories, including personal ones
  • You can give us one hour a month
  • You're building a reputation that compounds over 12 months

This isn't for you if…

  • You need signed cases next week
  • Your practice runs purely on paid intake
  • You won't share anything personal
  • You want followers, not referrals
  • You want someone to invent a personality for you

The voice guarantee

If it doesn't sound like you, it doesn't go out.

Nothing posts without your approval. You redline until you give the thumbs up. Every post also has to pass our cringe test: would a partner at a 30-year-old firm share this without cringing? If not, we rewrite it.

Jacob MolinaFounder, Storyleads

I wrote over 500 posts for lawyers before I ever posted one for myself.

It started with rewriting lawyers' posts for free and sending them back. Nobody posted them. The writing wasn't the problem. They didn't sound like the lawyer, and no lawyer puts their name on words that aren't theirs.

So I stopped rewriting and started listening. We sit down, you talk, and we find the stories. We're not subject-matter experts. We're content experts. We just amplify who you already are in real life.

Referrals compound. They don't flip on like ads. If you're ready to become the go-to attorney in your practice area and your city, let's talk.

Questions

Frequently asked.

How much of my time does this actually take?

About one hour a month once we're up and running. In month one we meet weekly to build a backlog. After that it's one conversation a month, plus a few minutes approving drafts.

I tried a ghostwriter before. Why is this different?

Most ghostwriters write for you. We write with you. Every post starts from a real conversation, so it sounds like you. Nothing goes out until you approve it, and if it doesn't sound like you, we rewrite it.

I don't think I have stories to tell.

Everyone says that. Finding the stories is our job, and we've interviewed hundreds of lawyers. Your cases, your clients, your weekends and your path through law school all turn into posts once someone asks the right questions.

How do you make sure I don't sound like I'm bragging?

Every post is held to one standard: would a partner at a 30-year-old firm share this without cringing? The goal is trust, not chest-thumping. We write stories that show how you think, not posts that announce how great you are.

Does this replace the PPC or intake marketing I already run?

No. It's a different channel. Ads bring in consumer cases. This builds the lawyer-to-lawyer referral network that sends you cases you'd never get from ads.

How do I know it's working?

Watch for the signals that matter: views from decision-makers in your niche, profile views from the lawyers you want to reach, inbound DMs, and people mentioning your posts when they meet you. Most clients see their first qualified DM within the first 4–6 posts.

How long is the commitment?

We work in 12-month engagements, because referrals compound over time. We'll walk you through the details on the strategy call. No pressure.

Why do you limit attorneys per market?

We don't put competing lawyers in front of the same referral partners. If your practice area is already taken in your market, we'll tell you on the call.
